This is a birthday tribute for two of my favorite ladies.
I 100% attribute my love of ABBA to mom (and dad). I heard it in the womb, they were the first records I remember playing, the first CDs I owned...yep, all true. This is a particular favorite to sing together (although we know them ALL). Happy birthday to you today, Mom. You are a real gem and in the words of Agnetha and Anni-Frid, "after a fight and words of violence, we can face it together the way old friends do,"... I love you.
Kasey is my teenage BFF and she was quickly adopted into our family and all that ABBA. We also did a lot of lip syncs together so she gets this part of me and won't be embarrassed that I am dedicating this to her as many people would (and should) be. Kase, for your birthday coming up in May, thousands of miles away, this is also for you. "I don't care what comes tomorrow. We can face it together, the way old friends do." Love you, girl.
I'm not kidding, there is an ABBA song for everything. I could do lip syncs to most of them. I detail my great love of lip synching HERE.
